Exclusive To The Boston In-Water Boat Show
The Powerboat Docking Challenge . . . Test Your Skill
From an actual helm and at full throttle steer the 4 ft, twin engine, remote controlled Sport Fisherman down the 20 ft tank to the marina. As the boat passes through the channel markers toward the marina an electronic sensor will start the Timing Clock.
You will enter the marina and back the boat into a fully instrumented slip while the crowd watches and measures your skills against theirs. Any contact with the slip activates a penalty counter, confirming the crowd's suspicions and giving you penalty points. You then leave the slip under full throttle and return through the channel markers to stop the Timing Clock while the crowd cheers with approval. The computerized scoring system combines your elapse time and penalty points, displaying your score against the standings for all contestants. Good Luck!
